Do you work from photographs ?

Yes, When my subject is a portrait or pet I require photos. It is very important that these

be good quality. The more detail I can get through the photo the better the painting will come out.

How many photo's should I send ?

If you can find 4-6 quality photos to send that is great.  I know this may not always be the case though. If you

have a favorite out of the group please mark that one. It is always good to have a variety of photos for reference

How long will my painting take to complete ?

This really depends on how much work I have at that time.  A good rule of thumb is to plan for 4-6 weeks. If you would like a painting done before a certain time, let me know and I will see if I can accommodate you.

Do I pay a down payment ?

Yes, this will be arranged after I have looked over the photos and we have decided on the type of painting, medium and size. I will ask at that time that you send me 50 percent for a down payment.

What if I am unhappy with my painting ?

Before I start the final painting you will have a chance to view a planned sketch. At this time you can make changes. Also when the painting is completed you will again view it and I can make changes then as well. Of course if your still unhappy with the piece you can return it for a negotiated refund.

How will the painting be shipped ?

All paintings are packaged carefully in padded boxes. If your piece is a pastel, it will also be packaged with a matt and backing board to ensure safer handling. All pieces are then shipped by a UPS courier.
